Amiri is an exciting young classical pianist offering fresh, honest ideas and diverse programmes. Currently studying at the Royal College of Music on a full scholarship under the tutelage of Danny Driver, he holds the Ann Driver Trust Scholarship, supported by the Victor Dandaleh Foundation. Amiri previously studied at Trinity Music Academy under Richard Evans.

Amiri regularly performs across the UK and abroad. Previous engagements include solo recitals at prestigious venues including Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Institut Francais, Bishopsgate’s Institute and the Royal Albert Hall (as part of the Steinway Young Artist series) and an appearance performing on BBC Radio London. Most Recently, Amiri won the Kerr Memorial Prize at the 2024 Royal Overseas League Competition. And, following a rigorous audition process which culminated with a final audition at Wigmore Hall, Amiri was selected to join the sought-after roster of Young Classical Artists Trust’s (YCAT), and a Grand Prize winner.
